HISTORY
The history of the company spells success on many levels. The company started when three women, two sisters and their mother, took a trip to visit Italy. While staying at a hotel they fell in love with the hotel’s handcrafted dinner plates which was used every day for their meals.
Making the most out of their trip and curiosity, they managed to meet the actual artisans who made the dinnerware, and spent three days watching them work.
It did not take long for the women to realize the superior quality and craftsmanship. They decided to set up business and sell them in America. Fast forward a few years and by 1984 the company had become an established wholesaler for upscale stores along the East Coast including New York City.
