I was looking at your website and saw you used a Philips pasta machine. I am looking to buy a used one and have two options. The two pasta machines don’t have a weigh/ scale option. One is a 2375/06 with four dies and the other is a 2357/05 probably similar to yours with 8 dies. Would you recommend one over the other. An a friend of a friend has the 2357/05 model with a scale on hers and has had it for 5 years now and loves it.
Thank you,
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
I have never seen the 2357/05 with an integrated scale, but according to the Philips site it’s the 2383/16 that has the integrated scale.
The 2357/05 (the one I use) has a slightly more powerful machine with 200W vs the /06 with 150W.
Last I checked the 2357/05 was $100 cheaper too.
I haven’t used one with the integrated scale so I can’t really comment on that – I’m not sure how that would work but I’d be curious. Not sure if you checked out my full review, if not – visit here: https://www.simpleitaliancooking.com/reviews/philips-pasta-maker-machine-review/.
Let me know your thoughts on whichever one you choose! Thanks for writing in!
