Here’s a simple recipe that is the perfect breakfast, go-to snack, appetizer or after-dinner dessert. Ricotta and jam always go great together, but when spread on your favorite bread or baguette, it’s even more delicious!

  • Slices of toasted Italian bread or artisan baguette
  • Whole milk ricotta
  • Jam or marmalade. Orange, lemon, apricot, blackberry, or strawberry are just a few you can start with.

Step 1. Slice your bread into 1/2-inch slices.

Step 2. Toast the bread to your desired doneness.

Step 3. Spread a layer of ricotta on top, then a dollop of your favorite jam and spread slightly.

Step 4. Set on a plate and serve!

Ingredients

  • 12 Slices Italian bread or baguette 1/2" slices
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk ricotta adjust qty based on size of slices
  • 1/3 cup Apricot jam or other favorite jam/marmalade

Instructions

  • Toast your bread slices to your desired doneness.
    12 Slices Italian bread or baguette
  • Spread a layer of ricotta on top
    1/2 cup Whole milk ricotta
  • Add a spoonful of your favorite jam or marmalade on top.
    1/3 cup Apricot jam
  • Serve and enjoy!
