2. Reduce to low and cook uncovered for 25-minutes, or until the farro is tender and slightly chewy. It is hard to overcook farro so if you prefer it softer, feel free to cook 10-minutes longer. When farro is done, remove from heat.
3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add one Tablespoon of the olive oil, and diced onions. Stir so all the onions are covered, then saute for 5 to 8 minutes until translucent.
