Here is a delicious and easy recipe for nutella crepes. I last made this for my mom for Mother’s Day, and I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as she does. This Italian dessert uses homemade crepes and our favorite filling from a jar – Nutella!

Recipe Summary
This recipe serves approximately 8 crepes, perhaps more depending on how large you make them. You can chill the crepe batter for a few hours or even overnight, but that’s not required.
It takes about 30 minutes to make. I like to serve them immediately, but they taste good anytime in my opinion.
Ingredients
For this recipe you just need a few simple ingredients.

- Butter
- Egg
- Milk
- Salt
- Flour
- nuTella
Equipment Needed
- saute pan – you can also use a crepe maker if you prefer.
Step by Step Instructions
For exact measurements check out the recipe card below. These steps will explain what’s involved in making my Nutella crepes.
Step 1. Using a whisk, beat the eggs, milk and salt in a medium bowl.
Step 2. Slowly add in the flour a little at a time and mixing it until there are few to no clumps.
Pro Tip: I find that by adding the flour in just a little bit at a time helps to prevent clumping.

Step 3. Set the batter aside.
Step 4. In a saute pan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Then pour the butter slowly into the batter while mixing it. This emulsifies the butter with the egg mixture.

Step 5. Next, using a large spoon (or small ladle or cookie scoop), pour about 1/8th to 14 cup into the center of the pan and swirl the batter around until a near circle is formed.
Pro Tip: Do this quickly as it cooks very fast. Try to get it as thin as possible. It may take a few times until you get the hang of it.
Step 6. Cook for about 1-2 minutes on one side or until the sides start to curl, then flip and cook for another minute until done.
Step 7. Transfer to a plate and repeat the process until all the batter is used up.

Step 8. Place the crepe on flat surface and spread nutella on half the crepe. Fold it in half or in quarters to form a triangle.
Step 9. Enjoy to your heart’s content!
